These are artists, producers, and scene-builders whose music has endured because of records that continue to circulate long after their original release, yet whose voices are rarely part of the conversation. Physical media can carry these stories far beyond where they began. Occasionally, they land in unexpected places – including here in Shepparton.
We approach artists with curiosity and respect. Each interview is guided by listening: to their music, to their history, and to the broader context in which their work was made. Rather than chasing hype or revisionism, the aim is to document, reflect, and share – creating a small but meaningful library about lives shaped by music.
Shepparton’s strength has always been its diversity, with many cultures, languages and experiences meeting in one place.
