Interviste
𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞 is our long-form conversation series, shaped by a simple idea: some of the most interesting stories in music belong to people whose work has quietly travelled the world without their knowledge.
These are artists, producers, and scene-builders whose music has endured (often through records and tapes circulating long after their original release) yet whose voices are rarely part of the conversation. Physical media, and the global networks built around it, have a way of carrying these stories far beyond where they began. Occasionally, they land in unexpected places – including here in Shepparton.

We approach artists with curiosity and respect. Each interview is guided by listening: to their music, to their history, and to the broader context in which their work was made. Rather than chasing hype or revisionism, the aim is to document, reflect, and share – creating a small but meaningful library about lives shaped by music.
Shepparton’s strength has always been its diversity, with many cultures, languages and lived experiences meeting in one place. 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞 is our contribution to that mix – stories gathered through careful digging, the occasional hunch, and sometimes plain luck, then shared openly with anyone curious enough to read along.
